Layar PIK Residence

2026

Designed by Grey Architect

The interior design by Grey Architect presents a warm and refined living environment defined by the extensive use of muka wood veneer type Rustic Walnut 3100. The 3-meter-length veneer panels create a strong vertical rhythm that enhances the sense of height and continuity throughout the space. In the corridor and built-in cabinetry, the long veneer sheets are carefully aligned to maintain a seamless wood grain flow, highlighting the natural richness and depth of the rustic walnut tone. The integration of fluted panels, concealed storage, and clean-lined joinery demonstrates precise craftsmanship, allowing the material itself to become the visual focus while maintaining a calm, elegant atmosphere.

In the bedroom and living areas, Grey Architect continues this language by using the same Rustic Walnut 3100 veneer as expansive wall cladding, forming a cohesive backdrop that unifies the entire home. The generous 3-meter veneer length allows for minimal joint lines, resulting in a smooth, uninterrupted surface that feels luxurious yet grounded. Combined with soft upholstered elements, marble flooring, and warm natural lighting, the rustic walnut veneer introduces a balanced contrast between texture and comfort. This thoughtful use of long-format muka wood veneer not only enhances visual continuity but also reinforces a timeless, sophisticated ambiance across the interior.
