Sonar Di Lusso

Designed by Shania Tahir

2024

In Shania Tahir's design for the Sonar Di Lusso project, the use of Muka wood veneer, along with other exotic options like African white, silver gothic, natural walnut, brown eyes, and taupe rough cut, creates a bold yet sophisticated ambiance. The combination of these veneers offers an eclectic blend of textures and tones, each contributing its own character to the space. Muka’s rotary pattern adds a distinct visual intrigue, while African white brings a striking lightness that contrasts elegantly with the deep richness of natural walnut and the subtle shimmer of silver gothic. Together, these elements introduce a dynamic interplay between natural warmth and refined luxury.

The brown eyes veneer, with its intricate pattern, draws attention to fine details, adding depth and a sense of movement to the design. Paired with taupe rough cut, which offers a more rugged, textured surface, the veneer selections present a tactile richness that elevates the sensory experience of the space. Shania's careful balancing of these exotic veneers enhances the Sonar Lusso project's modern yet timeless feel, creating an ambiance that is both warm and sophisticated, with a unique artistic flair.

Location : Sonar Di Lusso, Menteng, Jakarta, Indonesia.
